In this Accredian Spotlight interview, we feature Dr. Jitendra Gandhi, who is currently working as a Techno-commercial Head at Megh Technologies India Pvt Ltd. with over 10+ years of experience. His insatiable quest for knowledge and upskilling led him to enrol in the Global Certificate in Product Management at Accredian.
Question 1: Which program & batch are you part of at Accredian & tell us more about your current work profile?
Jitendra: I am part of the GCPM, October 2021 batch. I am working with one of the IT service provider companies in Gujarat. I am a Techno-Commercial Head for domestic and international customers.
We are into custom software development and ecommerce solution development. Till date I have delivered more than 25 ecommerce projects and delivered more than 15 custom software projects.
Question 2: Walk us through your career journey & what got you interested in Product Management?
Jitendra: As I shared that I am managing a lot of custom development projects for our customers. I am the person who discusses the requirements of the customer and understands their requirements.
I am preparing BRD for the project as well. Sometimes customers are looking for product development and they don’t know what to do for that. In that case our team helps them and develops products for them.
I feel that I can provide better solutions if I gain more knowledge about product development and the right time, I found this course and I joined the same.
Question 3: What all Product Management concepts, frameworks & tools have you mastered in your program at Accredian so far?
Jitendra: I am more comfortable with requirement gathering, which means collecting problem statements and finding appropriate solutions for that.

- Objectives
- Divide goals into milestones
- Identify right team members
- Track progress
- Analysing team activities and remove misunderstanding
- Celebrate successful achievement of milestones.
Are also the concepts that I have mastered successfully.
Question 4: What were some of the initial challenges when you got started on your Product Management journey and how did you overcome it?
Jitendra: There were a lot of challenges that I faced. Firstly, I didn’t know where to start, what is important and how I can start.
I learned from this course and started implementing it in real projects. It is indeed very helpful.
Question 5: Who is your favourite faculty at Accredian and what did you learn from them?
Jitendra: My favourite faculty is Khanjan Desai because of 2 reasons:
- Great way of explanation
- Handles queries brilliantly
Question 6: In your view, what is the goal of Product Management & how has it evolved in the last few years?
Jitendra: The objective of product development is to fulfill customer demands/needs and make revenue out of that. Sometimes products solve problems for the customer as well.
Nowadays, products are very useful to the customers. Every product owner is doing research on demand and need of the product and is trying to fulfill every customer’s needs.
Question 7: What are the current trends in Product Management that you are most excited about?
Jitendra: Basically, product development happening for many reasons like:
- Product evolution
- Predictive product development
- Technology driven product development
- As per market demand
- Innovation
Driving forces for product developments are technology, market and society. But it should be ecological, economic and new business development instead.

Question 9: Please tell how your journey has been with Accredian so far and what are the elements that you liked.
I am satisfied with the topics that are covered during online classes. The study material is good. The faculties are well qualified and the teaching style is also good. All sessions and classes are very interactive and cover current examples during class.
Question 10: What is your advice to anyone wanting to start a career in Product Management?
Jitendra: My thought on this is that if anyone wants to make their career in product management, they focus on learning theory. I will recommend Accredian if anyone wants to learn about Product Management.
