In this Accredian Spotlight interview, we feature Mohammed Tousef, an Ex Business Development Executive and aspiring Data Science enthusiast. His passion for learning led him to join Global Certificate in Data Science & AI, at Accredian .
Question 1: Which program and batch are you a part of at Accredian and tell us more about your current work profile?
Mohammed: I’m a part of the Global certificate in Data Science program, November 2020 batch. In my last role I was working as a Business Development Executive. My job profile included cold-calling, conducting meetings with the clients, presentations and managing pre and post sale activities.
Question 2: What got you interested in Data Science & Machine Learning?
Mohammed: Data Science & Machine Learning concepts itself are interesting and amazing and people sharing their experience on YouTube created interest in me to choose Data Science as my career.
Question 3: What tools and packages have you mastered in your Data Science program at Accredian so far?
Mohammed: I’ve mastered tools like Jupyter, Google-Colab, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn and packages like Pandas, Numpy, Seaborn and Tableau.
Question 4: What initial challenges did you face when you started on your Data Science journey and how did you overcome them?
Mohammed: Being from a non-technical background I felt the concept of coding would be hard to grasp but starter kits of Python & Statistics provided at Accredian were very helpful to understand concepts and practice made easy for me.
Question 5: Who is your favorite faculty at Accredian and what did you learn
from them?
Mohammed: My favourite faulty is Mr.Deepesh Wadhwani.
Question 6: What current trends of Data Science are you most excited about?
Mohammed: Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence are the most exciting current trends industries are adopting to streamline their business processes and make better decisions.
Question 7: Which Data Science blogs do you follow?
Mohammed: I keep myself updated with the content provided at Accredian and also I also watch some videos on YouTube.
